Starting today, CVS will be operating drive-thru rapid COVID-19 testing, offered by Abbott Laboratories, at a site on Georgia Tech’s campus. At full capacity, the site will be able to conduct up to 1,000 tests per day. To qualify, patients must be residents of Georgia and must go through a screening process and register online. Drive-thru testing is available at Bluegrass Community & Technical College at 500 Newtown Pike. Testing is available 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. This site will be closed December 23 – 25, and January 1. No appointment is necessary and there is no cost to the patient. Testing results generally are available within 24 – 48 hours.
